Senior DevOps Engineer – Azure, Databricks & Unity Catalog

About the role

We are looking for a senior DevOps engineer to design, implement, and manage Azure‑based infrastructure that supports Databricks environments and Unity Catalog integrations. The role is fully remote and offers the chance to work autonomously on a variety of platform‑configuration, access‑management, and release‑deployment tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Azure cloud services for Databricks and Unity Catalog.
• Handle access‑management requests, platform configuration changes, and release deployments securely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure scalable, reliable cloud environments.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines following DevOps best practices.
• Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of asset bundles and Power Platform components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and platform issues promptly.
• Communicate status updates and resolutions clearly to requesters.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert on cloud‑native technologies and platform configurations.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Databricks and Unity Catalog administration.
• Proven ability to manage access, configuration, and release processes independently.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with security, governance, and compliance in cloud environments.
