Senior DevOps and Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Svitla Systems Inc. seeks a Senior DevOps and Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join a fast‑growing AI‑driven sales automation platform. The role is hands‑on, focused on improving, automating, and securing cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP while supporting SOC 2 compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Streamline deployments and convert manual/script‑based workflows to Terraform.
• Enhance CI/CD reliability using GitHub Actions.
• Tighten production access controls and implement least‑privilege/JIT access.
• Support SOC 2 technical controls and readiness.
• Optimize Vertex AI pipeline deployment times and multi‑tenant provisioning.
• Respond to production incidents and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or platform engineering.
• Proven ability to work independently, clarify ambiguity, and drive implementations with minimal supervision.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ownership mindset focused on reliability, security, and deployment quality.

Required skills

• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• AWS services (Lambda, IAM, VPC, Amplify, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, Parameter Store).
• GCP services (Vertex AI, IAM, VPC networking, Cloud security, Cloud Logging, Monitoring, Observability).
• GitHub Actions and CI/CD automation.
• SOC 2 technical controls.
• Linux, networking, DNS, IAM, cloud security fundamentals.
• Scripting languages: Bash, Python, Go.
