Senior Data Engineer (GCP)

About the role

Capgemini Engineering is looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform to join global, high‑impact projects. You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement scalable data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop batch and streaming data pipelines using BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub and related GCP services.
• Ensure data solutions are high‑quality, scalable, and performant.
• Collaborate with Agile teams, participate in technical reviews and promote best practices.

Required profile

• At least 7 years of experience in data engineering.
• Advanced experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, GCS, Pub/Sub).
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.

Required skills

• Strong SQL knowledge.
• Programming in Python or Java.
• Experience with Apache Airflow.
• Familiarity with Kafka or Pub/Sub.
