Senior Corporate Accountant (Remote)

About the role

This full‑time remote position is with a global leader in financial services. As a Senior Corporate Accountant you will own the end‑to‑end financial reporting process, ensure regulatory compliance, and support strategic decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close activities, including reconciliations, adjustments and journal entries.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state and local tax regulations and coordinate related filings.
• Analyse financial results to identify trends, variances and cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Partner with budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning teams to provide accurate financial insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience supporting financial audits.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
