Senior Business Systems Analyst – Quoting System

About the role

Command|Link is looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to own the vendor quote tool that connects sales, procurement, and finance. You will map current quoting workflows, define the data model and ensure the system scales as pricing volume and vendor complexity increase.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between procurement, finance, sales operations and engineering, ensuring each group’s requirements are reflected in the tool.
• Facilitate regular working sessions to surface and resolve conflicting requirements early.
• Own and maintain the requirements and data model for vendor records, line‑item pricing, currency handling, quote versioning and approval status.
• Document current‑state quoting workflows, identify risks or friction points, and propose improvements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories and clear process documentation for engineering and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment.
• Strong ability to align competing priorities across finance, procurement, sales and engineering teams.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex data models in plain language.
