Senior Business Development Specialist – Downstream (Saudi Arabia Relocation)

About the role

Saudi Aramco is seeking a Senior Business Development Specialist to join its Downstream Origination Department. The role focuses on identifying, evaluating and executing profitable downstream investment opportunities across refining, petrochemicals, trading, retail, logistics, storage and lubricants. The position requires full relocation to Saudi Arabia on a permanent expat package.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end business development process from screening to deal closure, prioritising proposals against investment criteria.
• Lead negotiations, assemble initial offerings, and coordinate with subject‑matter experts to draft MoUs and LOIs.
• Ensure compliance with stage‑gate approvals, approve contract payments and variations within delegated limits.
• Develop resource and funding plans to transform concepts into closed deals.
• Conduct economic modelling, valuation and due‑diligence planning, presenting results to senior stakeholders.
• Draft and review legal documents such as head of terms, cost‑sharing and shareholder agreements.
• Maintain and grow the downstream business portfolio.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business & Management or Engineering.
• MBA preferred.
