Senior Business Analyst

About the role

DEPT® is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to own a workstream end‑to‑end, translating complex business needs into actionable product and technology solutions. You will collaborate with clients, strategists, product managers, designers, engineers and QA teams across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops, capture stakeholder input and produce clear, testable requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Map current and future‑state processes, create flowcharts, personas, use cases and data mappings, and close gaps before delivery.
• Maintain traceability from business goals through requirements to delivered outcomes and define UAT strategy with scenarios and validation criteria.
• Resolve stakeholder conflicts, build trust‑based relationships and translate technical language for business audiences.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of Business Analyst experience with a proven track record of independently owning a workstream.
• Comfortable running discovery sessions and producing functional specifications, process diagrams and user stories.
• Experience in agency environments, moving between clients, industries and delivery models, preferably in advertising.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, Miro, FigJam and Adobe Workfront.
• Familiarity with Adobe AEM, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Contentful or Optimizely platforms.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum or Kanban methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle.
