Senior Backend Developer (.NET)

About the role

Proxify is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join a high‑growth client team as a core backend architect. You will lead the design and implementation of enterprise‑level, high‑throughput distributed systems.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build robust, maintainable, and testable backend services from scratch.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimizing memory usage and query execution times.
• Lead peer code reviews and establish coding standards.
• Collaborate with product owners and frontend engineers to define technical requirements and API specifications.
• Work with DevOps to manage deployment pipelines and ensure zero‑downtime releases.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong verbal and written English, able to lead technical discussions.

Required skills

• C# and .NET (6/8/9)
• Building scalable Web APIs, custom middleware, dependency injection
• Entity Framework Core, SQL Server
• Azure services (or AWS equivalents), serverless functions, Service Bus, containerization
• Microservices, Domain‑Driven Design, event‑driven architectures
• Unit and integration testing with xUnit/nUnit and Moq
• Dapr (nice‑to‑have), MongoDB or CosmosDB, React or Angular (nice‑to‑have)
