Senior Accounting and Finance Consultant (Controller Level)

About the role

PROVE Partners is seeking a seasoned Senior Accounting and Finance Consultant to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, treasury, and internal controls in a fast‑moving, globally distributed environment. This remote, controller‑level position supports day‑to‑day finance activities while collaborating with operational and finance stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate classification of all transactions.
• Oversee accounting functions for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, commissions, and fixed assets.
• Execute cash reporting, treasury activities, and budgeting support.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to align finance processes with operational needs.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in accounting and finance within healthcare finance, specialty finance, professional services, or receivables management.
• Proven ability to work independently in a high‑tempo, evolving environment.
• Strong accountability and comfort with cross‑functional collaboration.
