Senior Accountant – Finance & Accounting

About the role

The Accountant will oversee a range of accounting activities, ensuring compliance with GAAP, corporate policies, and audit requirements. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, this role collaborates across finance, HR, and operations to support accurate financial reporting and strategic analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting tasks including accounts payable, accruals, banking, fixed assets, and general ledger entries.
• Lead full‑cycle month‑end close: journal entries, account reconciliations, expense recognition, and accrual reversals.
• Prepare and file non‑income tax returns (sales/use tax, commercial activity tax, estimated payments).
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to GAAP and tax codes.
• Assist HR with payroll and tax reporting accuracy.
• Develop and implement more efficient accounting procedures while maintaining high accuracy.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑management activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in general accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with transfer pricing or foreign‑exchange accounting is a plus.

Required skills

• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
