Security Analyst – Managed Services

About the role

Netrix Global is seeking a Security Analyst to join its Managed Services – Security team. The analyst will monitor, triage, and investigate security events across client environments, ensuring timely incident identification and clear communication.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events using Elastic SIEM across network, endpoint, and cloud environments.
• Investigate, validate, and classify potential security incidents, including malware, phishing, and unauthorized access.
• Support incident response by collecting evidence, escalating critical threats, and assisting with containment.
• Correlate logs from firewalls, IDS/IPS, web servers, endpoints, and cloud platforms to identify indicators of compromise.
• Develop and tune detection rules, dashboards, and alerts within Elastic SIEM.
• Leverage threat intelligence and MITRE ATT&CK tactics to enhance detection capabilities.
• Document investigations, findings, and lessons learned to improve security operations.
• Produce metrics and reports on threat trends and incident activity for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and technical documentation skills.
• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC or security operations.
• Ability to communicate risks and recommendations to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Elastic SIEM or comparable SIEM platforms.
• Knowledge of network security fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, SMTP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs).
• Experience with log analysis and event correlation across endpoints, networks, cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence concepts, IOCs, MITRE ATT&CK.
• Understanding of Windows, Linux and cloud environments and their security logging.
