Roller Operator – Rural Maintenance Crew

About the role

Join the Infrastructure and Utilities team as a full‑time Roller Operator working in Maintenance Rural Crews across the Central Highlands Region. You will operate roller plant and perform labouring duties to support the construction, maintenance and repair of roads and town facilities while enjoying a balanced work‑life schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Operate roller equipment safely and efficiently on rural job sites.
• Carry out a range of labouring tasks to assist road and facility projects.
• Support the completion and ongoing maintenance of road and town infrastructure.
• Work on diverse projects throughout the Central Highlands Region, including camp‑based assignments when required.
• Take overtime shifts when available to increase earnings.

Required profile

• Roller Operations statement of attainment or ticket.
• Construction White Card.
• Current Queensland Class C licence (minimum).
• Willingness to work on rural sites and stay in camp environments as needed.
• Positive, flexible attitude toward a variety of operating and labouring tasks.

Required skills

• Roller operation certification.
• Construction White Card compliance.
• Queensland Class C driver licence.

• Award Stream B, Level 5 remuneration at $43.95 per hour (inclusive of superannuation & allowances).
