Roller Operator – Construction Crew (Full‑time)

About the role

The Central Highlands Regional Council is seeking experienced Roller Operators to join its Construction Crew on a full‑time, 9/5 roster. You will operate rollers and assist with a variety of labouring and plant tasks to support the construction and maintenance of roads and town facilities across the Central Highlands region.

Key responsibilities

• Operate roller equipment safely and efficiently on road and infrastructure projects.
• Perform general labour duties, including site preparation, material handling and clean‑up.
• Assist with the maintenance and repair of town facilities as directed.
• Collaborate with the infrastructure team to meet project schedules and quality standards.
• Participate in overtime and 9‑day‑fortnight work patterns when required.

Required profile

• Roller Operations statement of attainment or ticket.
• Valid Construction White Card.
• Current Queensland Class C driver licence (minimum).
• Willingness to work on rural sites and stay in camp environments as needed.
• Positive, flexible attitude towards a range of operating and labour tasks.
