Roller Operator – Construction Crew (Full‑time)

About the role

Join the Central Highlands Regional Council as a Roller Operator within a construction crew. This full‑time position works a 9/5 roster (nine‑day fortnight) on rural job sites across the Central Highlands Region, supporting the construction and maintenance of roads and town facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Operate roller equipment safely and efficiently on a variety of civil‑works projects.
• Perform general labouring duties and assist with plant operation tasks.
• Contribute to the completion and ongoing maintenance of road and municipal infrastructure.
• Work overtime when available and adapt to camp‑based environments as required.

Required profile

• Roller Operations statement of attainment or ticket.
• Construction White Card.
• Current Queensland Class C licence (minimum).
• Willingness to work on rural sites and stay in camp when needed.
• Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work visa.
