Restaurant365 Accounting Specialist

About the role

Our client, a growing multi-location restaurant group, has recently migrated from QuickBooks Online to Restaurant365. They need a seasoned Accounting Specialist who will own the Restaurant365 platform, streamline accounting and inventory processes, and train staff to ensure accurate financial and operational reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the internal Restaurant365 expert, reviewing setup, identifying gaps, and optimizing chart of accounts, locations, vendors and approval workflows.
• Manage daily accounting workflows in Restaurant365, including bank, credit-card and vendor reconciliations, month-end and year-end close, and timely financial reporting.
• Monitor inventory tracking, food-cost reporting and variance analysis, improving inventory management and supporting purchasing.
• Generate and analyse financial and operational dashboards, providing insights on labor, food costs and profitability for leadership.
• Train and support internal users, create SOPs, and serve as the primary point of contact for all Restaurant365 questions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with Restaurant365.
• Background supporting multi-location restaurants or hospitality groups.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant accounting principles and inventory control.
• Experience migrating from QuickBooks Online to Restaurant365 is a plus.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and ability to work independently.
