Remote Recruiting Specialist (Freelance)

About the role

Objective Recruiting is seeking a self‑driven Remote Recruiting Specialist to own outbound sourcing and headhunting for both internal hires and Canadian client candidates. You will work independently, leveraging fast feedback loops to deliver data‑driven hiring outcomes for a diverse, remote team.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage passive candidates using outbound sourcing strategies, including Boolean search and networking.
• Qualify candidates against screening criteria and capture qualified leads in company systems.
• Facilitate structured assessments and provide transparent, data‑driven hiring recommendations.
• Collaborate with co‑founders and account managers via Slack and Zoom to align on hiring strategy.
• Maintain accurate reporting on sourcing metrics and recruitment outcomes.

What we offer

• Monthly retainer between CAD 1,000 and CAD 2,000.
