Remote Online SAT English Tutor for U.S. Students

About the role

Ruvimo Learning is seeking experienced SAT English tutors to deliver live 1:1 online sessions for U.S. students preparing for the Digital SAT. You will help learners strengthen reading and writing skills, master the Digital SAT format, and boost overall test performance through personalized instruction.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct engaging 1:1 online SAT English sessions covering Digital SAT Reading and Writing.
• Teach core concepts such as Craft and Structure, Information and Ideas, Standard English Conventions, and Vocabulary in Context.
• Demonstrate SAT‑specific strategies including elimination techniques, time management, and question analysis.
• Identify each student’s strengths and gaps, personalize instruction, and work through practice questions and mock tests.
• Explain incorrect answers, track progress, and provide constructive feedback while maintaining a positive learning environment.

Required profile

• Strong command of English grammar, reading comprehension, vocabulary, and written expression.
• Prior experience teaching SAT English, Reading & Writing, or similar test‑prep subjects (preferred).
• Familiarity with the current Digital SAT format and question types.
• Experience with U.S. students or knowledge of U.S. academic standards (preferred).
• Excellent spoken English, communication skills, and ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Reliable laptop/desktop, high‑speed internet, webcam, and headset.
• Availability to teach during U.S. time zones.
