Remote Hospitality Bookkeeper (LATAM)

About the role

Howard Financial is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support its hospitality clients on a 100% remote basis for the LATAM region. You will manage hotel‑specific accounting tasks, ensure accurate daily transaction processing, and provide timely financial reporting to leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Record and reconcile daily hotel transactions, including room revenue, ancillary sales, and expenses.
• Prepare and deliver regular financial statements and bespoke reports for hotel management.
• Support leadership with financial insights and operational analysis.
• Utilize accounting platforms such as SAGE, QuickBooks, and Excel; optionally work with Bill.com or Ramp.
• Maintain compliance with hotel accounting standards and internal controls.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of hotel accounting processes and daily financial operations.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and proactive with the ability to work independently.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Availability to work 9 AM–5 PM EST as an independent contractor.
