Remote Financial Controller (US Multi‑Entity)

About the role

EXP Group is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to work remotely from Argentina or elsewhere in South America. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will own the month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes for our multi‑state, multi‑entity U.S. business and provide the consolidated financial information that drives strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the monthly, quarterly and annual close process for entities in NJ, NY and TX.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports for leadership.
• Oversee AP/AR, general ledger entries and account reconciliations to an audit‑ready standard.
• Coordinate cash‑flow forecasting, working‑capital reporting and variance analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and internal‑control strengthening.
• Partner with HR/payroll on labor‑cost reporting and compliance.
• Liaise with external accountants, auditors and banking partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or Contador Público preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting and consolidations.
• Proven experience reporting for U.S. companies and familiarity with US GAAP.
• Multi‑entity accounting background; experience in distribution, food/produce or logistics is a plus.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish with strong written English.
• Self‑directed, able to work effectively in a remote, lean U.S. team.
