Remote Accountant for Real Estate Projects

About the role

We are looking for a remote Accountant to support large-scale real-estate implementation projects and ongoing accounting operations. The role is project-based, fast-paced and client-focused, ideal for candidates with solid accounting fundamentals and strong analytical abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports in line with deadlines and reporting requirements.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Manage cash-related functions, monitor cash balances and process journal entries.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies, analyse expenses and prepare monthly accruals.
• Review accounts payable activity and select invoices for payment processing.
• Conduct general ledger analysis and balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Support accounting operations for real-estate implementation projects and assist with audit requests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth onboarding and operational continuity.
• Provide timely communication and updates to internal stakeholders and clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (preferred).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative and critical-reasoning skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a project-driven environment.
• Fluent written and verbal English communication.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
