Regional Field Services Team Leader – Sarawak

About the role

Ericsson is seeking a Regional Team Lead to head the Field Services Operations team for the Sarawak region, supporting the CelcomDigi network. The role involves overseeing network operation and maintenance activities, ensuring service continuity and meeting performance targets while working largely on‑site with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the regional Field Services team to deliver efficient network operation and maintenance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for field operations in Sarawak, supporting CelcomDigi network performance.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise corrective and preventive maintenance across assigned sites.
• Provide technical guidance and problem‑solving support to field teams to meet SLA targets.
• Monitor daily performance data, analyse trends and take proactive actions to achieve operational KPIs.
• Support the Regional Manager with service‑delivery reporting and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety standards, conduct site inspections, risk assessments and safety audits.
• Supervise third‑party and subcontractor activities, overseeing safety, quality and security compliance.
• Manage site access control, physical security and escalation of safety or security incidents.

Required profile

• Strong technical background in telecommunications field operations or network maintenance.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to lead teams with minimal supervision.
• Analytical and problem‑solving mindset with experience handling operational KPIs, SLAs and customer performance targets.
• Good understanding of OHS standards, safety regulations and site risk management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Willingness to work in field‑based environments and manage regional responsibilities.
