QC Project Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Quality Control Project Assistant to perform the final quality checks on client deliverables at a global language service provider. The role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct rigorous quality control checks of translation certificates, file naming, properties, and types to ensure client requirements are met.
• Perform non‑linguistic quality reviews, verify adherence to glossaries, reference files, and client instructions, and fix formatting and layout issues.
• Monitor compliance with previous quality steps, report improvements, and maintain internal style guides and QC checklists.
• Identify process improvement opportunities, enhance translation workflows, and provide constructive feedback to production and linguist teams.

Required profile

• Exceptional ability to spot errors and inconsistencies while meeting project timelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong interpersonal skills for delivering clear, actionable feedback.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.
• Experience using Adobe Acrobat.
• Familiarity with reference management, version control, or content management systems (preferred).
