Project Manager – Nuclear Reactor Construction

About the role

This on‑site position involves leading the execution of complex nuclear reactor construction projects in Argentina, ensuring integration of scope, cost, schedule, risk and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project plans covering scope, cost, schedule, risk, and quality.
• Lead day‑to‑day execution of complex engineering and industrial projects.
• Monitor contractor deliverables, progress, performance and adherence to baselines.
• Chair project meetings, prepare progress reports and escalate key issues for client decisions.
• Drive risk, issue and change management processes with proactive mitigation.
• Coordinate interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and operations teams.
• Ensure implementation of project controls, reporting and governance structures.
• Manage stakeholder engagement with contractors, suppliers, regulators and client executives.
• Support budget tracking, reporting and early warning of deviations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory and ethical standards.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in project management for major infrastructure, energy or industrial projects.
• Experience in nuclear reactor projects is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
