Gerente de Proyecto – Construcción de Reactor Nuclear

About the role

The position is based on‑site in San Carlos de Bariloche, leading the delivery of complex nuclear reactor construction projects for a global professional services firm.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project plans covering scope, cost, schedule, risk and quality.
• Lead daily execution of large‑scale engineering and industrial projects, monitoring deliverables, contractor performance and baseline schedules.
• Facilitate project meetings, produce progress reports and escalate critical issues to the client.
• Drive risk, issue and change management with proactive mitigation and structured decision‑making.
• Coordinate interfaces among engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and operations.
• Ensure implementation of project controls, reporting structures and governance.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, acting as the main communication point with contractors, suppliers, regulators and client leadership.
• Support budget tracking and reporting, generating early alerts on deviations and risks.
• Guarantee compliance with safety, quality, regulatory and ethical standards throughout all project phases.
• Promote continuous improvement, innovation and lessons‑learned application to optimise delivery.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience managing large infrastructure, energy or related industrial projects.
• Preferable experience in nuclear reactor projects and complex industrial installations.
• Strong leadership, organisational and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
