Project Manager – Nuclear Reactor Construction (Argentina)

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the construction of nuclear reactor projects in Argentina. This on‑site position will oversee complex engineering and industrial activities, ensuring delivery against scope, cost, schedule, risk, and quality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project plans covering scope, cost, schedule, risk, and quality.
• Lead day‑to‑day execution of complex engineering and industrial projects.
• Monitor contractor deliverables, progress, performance, and adherence to project baselines.
• Chair project meetings, prepare progress reports, and escalate key issues for client decisions.
• Drive risk, issue, and change management processes.
• Coordinate interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations teams.
• Implement project controls, reporting, and governance structures.
• Manage stakeholder engagement with contractors, suppliers, regulators, and client executives.
• Support budget tracking and provide early warnings on deviations and risks.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and ethical standards.
• Promote continuous improvement and lessons‑learned application.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of project management experience in major infrastructure, energy, or industrial projects.
• Experience in nuclear reactor projects is highly desirable.
• Experience with complex industrial facilities or processes.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
