Project Management Analyst - Clinical Research

About the role

Project Management Analysts (PMA) are an integral part of clinical trial delivery, working in partnership with the Project Leader (PL) or Clinical Project Manager (CPM) to support project management activities. They help mitigate risk, control costs, manage the project schedule and ensure customer satisfaction for their assigned project.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage performance dashboards, analyse event triggers and alerts and follow up with the Project Leader or other functions.
• Coordinate the project schedule, keep milestones updated and partner with the PL on related calls.
• Coordinate and support the risk and issue management process.
• Manage project finances, including Estimate at Completion (EAC), monthly expenses, invoices and reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with the Vendor and Purchase Order (PO) management process.
• Implement and maintain baseline and change control processes.
• Provide the PL with timely, accurate data on cost, schedule, scope, utilization, change orders and quality.
• Develop and maintain parts of the Project Management Plan and review resource allocation within the budget.
• Prepare correspondence such as meeting minutes, status reports and presentation materials, and organise internal and customer meetings.
• Manage core file reviews, support audits, drive eTMF filing compliance and oversee eTraining compliance.
• Support onboarding of new team members and system access, monitor project metrics and update IQVIA systems for accurate reporting to senior management.
• Participate in regional initiatives supporting the PMA community.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field.
• Typically more than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Ideally 1 year of clinical research experience with analytical or financial skills, or relevant project management experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• A background in a consulting company is really useful.
• Advanced level of English is mandatory, due to daily use.
