Product Manager – Accounting (Contractor)

About the role

Jeeves is a global fintech platform that combines corporate cards, cross‑border payments and spend‑management software. The company seeks a contract Product Manager with accounting expertise to lead Accounting & Finance Automation initiatives, building tools that accountants, controllers and finance teams use across 20+ countries.

Key responsibilities

• Ship enhancements to the accounting user experience, including spend data management, reconciliation, compliance and audit trails.
• Identify AI automation opportunities, prototype solutions and decide when AI versus deterministic rules are appropriate.
• Drive integration work with ERP and accounting platforms such as NetSuite, SAP and QuickBooks.
• Conduct customer discovery with controllers and CFOs and translate findings into clear specifications for engineering.

Required profile

• Either a CPA/accounting degree with 2+ years in accounting or finance operations plus 2+ years in product roles on financial software, or 3+ years as a B2B SaaS/fintech Product Manager building ERP‑integrated products.
• Working knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, strong analytical abilities and excellent written communication.
• Hands‑on comfort prototyping with AI tools; LatAm accounting and compliance knowledge is a plus.
