Product Engineer

About the role

Kin Analytics is a data‑analytics consultancy that turns data into knowledge‑driven stories. We are looking for a Product Engineer who thrives at the intersection of product thinking and software development, working remotely with a global team.

Key responsibilities

• Build end‑to‑end features using React front‑end, Node.js or Python services, PostgreSQL and Firebase, from specification to production.
• Design robust APIs and data models that scale as product and client numbers grow.
• Own code in production, handling deployments, monitoring, and incident resolution.
• Maintain healthy CI/CD pipelines and test gates for the team.

Required profile

• Production experience with React and either Node.js or Python.
• Strong PostgreSQL data modeling and hands‑on Firebase experience (Firestore, Auth, security rules, preferably Data Connect).
• Google Cloud Platform experience (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL) or comparable cloud expertise.
• Proficiency with Docker for local development and deployment.
• Experience running CI/CD processes, including test gates and code reviews.
• Daily use of coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) with clear understanding of their impact.
• Full professional English to work directly with US clients.
