Procurement Project Lead

About the role

Valtech is seeking a Procurement Project Lead to drive the transformation of its Supplier Management department into a formal procurement function. Reporting to the Director of Supplier Management, you will shape procurement strategy, build a new category from scratch, and ensure best‑in‑class practices across professional services and consulting spend.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end sourcing cycle for professional services and consulting, from supplier identification and RFQ to negotiation, contract execution, and renewal.
• Build and manage a preferred supplier panel, establishing role‑based rate cards and standard commercial terms.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions in collaboration with Legal, Data Privacy, and Cybersecurity teams to optimise cost, quality and risk.
• Enable efficient purchase services focused on business value, on‑time delivery and reduced cycle time.
• Manage the portfolio of active agreements, including scope, pricing, amendments and renewals.
• Coordinate intake requests for the category, delivering a seamless experience for internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of procurement experience, preferably in professional services or consulting.
• Proven track record of leading transformation projects within a fast‑moving, lean environment.
• Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to build relationships across finance, legal, and business units.
• Curious problem‑solver who challenges the status quo and embraces continuous learning.
