Privacy Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Privacy Specialist to join our growing Legal Department. The role focuses on supporting global data‑privacy compliance, advising internal teams, and ensuring our privacy program meets legal and business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide data‑privacy compliance support to various departments and coordinate inputs from global privacy teams.
• Assess and continuously improve the GL Privacy program for legal compliance and business needs.
• Coordinate annual reviews of global privacy documentation and maintain detailed records.
• Develop and update privacy policies, track legislative changes, and handle Data Subject Requests worldwide.
• Support audits related to data‑privacy documentation, including client and certification body audits.
• Report progress and compliance issues to legal management and assist the global legal team as needed.

Required profile

• Law degree from Argentina with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Full professional proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
• Experience working as an in‑house lawyer for IT or multinational companies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a dispersed, cross‑functional team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 27001, TISAX, and SOC 2 Type II standards.
• Familiarity with privacy laws in Latin America, Mexico, and EU data‑protection regulations.
• Experience handling global Data Subject Requests.
