Principal Agentic Software Engineer (Remote, Argentina/Colombia)

About the role

We are looking for a world‑class Principal Agentic Software Engineer to shape the future of AI‑assisted software development on a large‑scale, cloud‑native platform. This senior individual contributor will work remotely from Argentina or Colombia, partnering directly with executive leadership to define long‑term technical strategy and drive organization‑wide adoption of AI coding agents.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the long‑term engineering and platform architecture strategy for distributed cloud‑native systems.
• Lead modernization initiatives, establishing engineering standards, governance, and scalability frameworks.
• Drive organization‑wide adoption of AI‑assisted development workflows and evaluate emerging AI tools.
• Set secure and scalable integration practices for AI agents within the platform.
• Lead complex cross‑functional technical projects and advise executive leadership on strategic technology decisions.
• Mentor senior engineers and raise engineering excellence across multiple teams.
• Contribute to scalable cloud‑native architectures, supporting Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and DevOps/SRE best practices.

Required profile

• 12+ years of software engineering and architecture experience, with deep expertise in distributed systems.
• Proven ability to define technical strategy at an organizational level and influence senior leadership.
• Exceptional communication, mentorship, and leadership skills; English proficiency at C1 level or higher.
• Passion for transforming software delivery through AI‑assisted development.
