Pre‑Sales Solution Architect – Expert Professional

About the role

Hitachi Vantara is seeking a Pre‑Sales Solution Architect Expert Professional to lead technical engagements and translate complex customer requirements into innovative Hitachi solutions. You will work closely with account teams to drive value‑focused outcomes for clients across diverse industries.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to shape solution strategies.
• Lead customer discovery, define requirements and design outcome‑led technical solutions.
• Deliver demonstrations, workshops, proofs‑of‑concept and technical presentations.
• Support RFP responses, competitive positioning, opportunity strategy and technical due diligence.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Services and Partners to ensure successful customer outcomes.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar pre‑sales or solution architecture role.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.
• Strong customer‑facing communication, discovery and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Deep technical knowledge of storage domains: block, file, object storage.
• Experience with private cloud, hybrid cloud and IaaS solutions.
• Understanding of cyber security and data management technologies.
