Post Silicon Validation Engineer

About the role

Marvell is seeking a Post Silicon Validation Engineer to join its Coherent DSP Business Unit. The engineer will work on high‑speed transceiver ASICs used in coherent optical communication systems, ensuring that hardware and firmware meet performance and standards requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Python scripts to automate lab measurements and control optical‑electrical test equipment.
• Plan and execute hardware validation test plans in an optical‑systems laboratory.
• Create and run automated regression tests in Python for firmware validation.
• Design and implement C/C++ APIs for customer integration.
• Write and run SystemVerilog UVM simulations to verify ASIC functionality.
• Document validation procedures and results for internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze compatibility of firmware and hardware with relevant industry standards.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in electronics, computer engineering, telecommunications or related field.
• Strong programming experience in Python and C/C++.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work under pressure.
• Interest or experience in embedded software development and optics is a plus.
