Philosophy Quality Assurance Lead (Remote)

About the role

This contract position is a remote, hourly role focused on ensuring the quality and consistency of philosophy‑focused AI training data. You will lead quality assurance efforts, review AI‑generated philosophical content, and guide a distributed team of trainers and QA specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee quality, consistency, and trainer performance across philosophy AI projects.
• Review AI‑generated philosophy content and trainer work against detailed rubrics.
• Provide precise written feedback on conceptual accuracy, argument structure, logical validity, and clarity.
• Identify recurring quality issues and communicate updates to trainers and QA staff.
• Support onboarding of new contributors and maintain up‑to‑date documentation.
• Activate and re‑engage contributors who are not working consistently.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Philosophy, Ethics, Logic, Political Theory, Humanities, Religious Studies, Classics, Cognitive Science, or a closely related field.
• Strong command of English for written feedback and team communication.
• 3+ years of experience in philosophy research, teaching, writing, editing, academic or ethics review, or related humanities workflows.
• Deep understanding of philosophical methods, logic, argument analysis, ethics, epistemology, metaphysics, philosophy of mind, political philosophy, and history of philosophy.
• Ability to evaluate content against detailed rubrics and spot issues such as straw‑man arguments, invalid inference, conceptual confusion, oversimplification, unsupported claims, false equivalence, or misrepresentation of philosophers’ views.
