Part-Time Senior Individual Tax Professional – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned US tax professional to join our firm on a part‑time basis (20 hrs/week) with a clear path to full‑time employment. The role is fully remote, requiring occasional overlap with Eastern Time for weekly check‑ins.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review 1065 partnership and 1120‑S S‑Corp tax returns from start to finish.
• Communicate with clients primarily through written channels (TaxDome portal, email) and occasional video calls.
• Develop and deliver tax planning strategies for small‑to‑mid‑size business clients.
• Gradually take on advisory engagements as client relationships deepen.
• Maintain accurate client documentation within TaxDome.
• Identify complex issues and coordinate with the principal for higher‑level decisions.
• Contribute to process improvements as the firm shifts toward advisory work.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years hands‑on experience in US taxation.
• Strong proficiency in preparing 1065 and 1120‑S returns.
• Advanced written English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and strict deadline management.
• Reliable home office setup with stable internet connection.
