Operations Specialist - Patient Safety (PV Intake Agent)

About the role

This Operations Specialist position puts you at the forefront of patient safety. As a PV Intake agent, you will work directly with healthcare professionals and patients every day, performing PV intake activities, PV follow-ups and PV reconciliations to optimise product safety profiles across therapeutic areas. The role sits within IQVIA's safety department, which offers ongoing training and development from in-house safety experts.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and document incoming telephone calls, voicemails, chats, faxes or emails from investigative sites or other sources reporting lifecycle safety data.
• Perform PV mailbox triage, PV intake activities, PV follow-ups and PV reconciliations.
• Translate content where necessary.
• Receive and document safety information from external customers such as patients and healthcare providers, and respond to their enquiries about products.
• Summarise reports based on information identified as vital to the project.
• Triage, identify and transfer out-of-scope inquiries to the local point of contact provided by the client.
• Share clear, accurate information with healthcare professionals and patients using approved call scripts and other approved resources.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field (mandatory).
• Fluency in English (mandatory); French is a strong asset.
• Previous PV experience (required).
