Operations Specialist

About the role

Canary Content is seeking an Operations Specialist to keep the day‑to‑day engine running. You will support technical SEO and AI‑enhanced content, publish work across multiple CMS platforms, and act as the main point of contact for clients and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and improve technical SEO and AI‑enhanced visibility, including site audits, crawl issues, schema markup, and keyword tracking.
• Publish and manage content in WordPress, Webflow and other CMS tools while ensuring proper internal linking and metadata.
• Set up and maintain Google Search Console, analytics, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonicals and redirects.
• Coordinate contractors, manage deadlines, and keep project boards organized.
• Develop and refine systems, templates and workflows to improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Background in operations, administration or digital marketing, with daily use of AI tools.
• Strong organizational skills; project boards stay clean and nothing slips through the cracks.
• Comfortable communicating with clients and managing external contractors.
• Clear written communication and ownership of tasks.

Required skills

• Technical SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush or Screaming Frog.
• Experience with schema markup (FAQ, Article, Organization, etc.).
• Proficiency in WordPress, Webflow or similar CMS platforms.
• Knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, XML sitemaps, robots.txt and redirects.
• Familiarity with keyword ranking and AI visibility tracking.
