Motion Data Collection Specialist – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a remote Motion Data Collection Specialist to capture high‑quality motion data using smartphone IMU sensors. You will work on a contract basis, delivering synchronized video footage that supports our research and development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Capture precise motion data with a smartphone’s IMU sensors during defined physical activities.
• Record synchronized video footage to validate and enrich the motion data.
• Follow detailed technical protocols to meet strict quality, labeling, and determinism standards.
• Deliver at least 10 hours of approved video data each week for the duration of the project.
• Communicate proactively with the team to clarify requirements and share insights.
• Maintain timely delivery aligned with project milestones.

Required profile

• Access to a head strap that can record both hands within 48 hours of the start date.
• Compatible smartphone (iPhone 11+, Google Pixel 6+, or Samsung Galaxy S21+).
• Strong attention to detail and proven ability to follow standardized protocols.
• Consistent output management and deadline adherence in a data‑driven environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for documentation and remote collaboration.
