Middle Platform Engineer

About the role

EMCD is seeking a Middle Platform Engineer to join its infrastructure team, developing a shared engineering platform and automating infrastructure for rapid, safe production changes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Kubernetes infrastructure across cloud and bare‑metal environments.
• Automate provisioning and configuration with Terraform and Ansible.
• Build and improve GitLab CI pipelines and reusable deployment templates.
• Maintain GitOps workflows using ArgoCD and Helm.
• Enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting, and participate in incident investigations.
• Develop internal tools and automation using Python or Go.

Required profile

• Practical commercial experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or SRE.
• Strong Linux skills and solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS).
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift in production.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines.
