Mid-level Generative AI Engineer

About the role

Avenga is looking for a Mid-level Generative AI Engineer to join its Generative AI & Cloud Automation team in Argentina. The role offers high autonomy to design, build, and deploy secure, scalable AI components that directly improve business efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Generative AI solutions with measurable impact.
• Create and optimise language models, RAG pipelines and autonomous agents.
• Deploy AI components on AWS or Azure, ensuring scalability, reliability and observability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align deliverables with organisational OKRs.
• Document technical designs and maintain integration standards.
• Research emerging AI technologies and propose ecosystem enhancements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Generative AI, cloud ecosystems or automation.
• Strong understanding of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and ability to thrive in sprint‑based environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Python programming.
• Frameworks: LangChain, LangGraph, FastAPI.
• LLM integration: OpenAI GPT, Gemini, Claude.
• RAG tools: FAISS, ChromaDB, Azure AI Search.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure.
• Containerisation: Docker, Kubernetes.
• CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation with Terraform.
• REST APIs, event‑driven architectures, autonomous‑agent frameworks.
• Data pipeline orchestration (Data Factory, Event Hub) – nice to have.
