Microsoft Fabric Architect

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Fabric Architect to design and implement modern data platforms on Microsoft Fabric and Azure for a U.S.-based client. The role involves defining best‑practice architectures, data ingestion patterns, security and governance frameworks, CI/CD processes, and analytical solutions across SAP and non‑SAP data sources.

Key responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure Microsoft Fabric architectures aligned with business requirements.
• Define data ingestion and integration strategies for SAP and non‑SAP sources.
• Build data pipelines using Fabric Data Factory.
• Design, optimize, and manage Fabric Lakehouses, Warehouses, and Delta Tables.
• Establish best practices for Fabric Workspaces, including governance, access, and lifecycle management.
• Develop security and authorization models following Microsoft and industry standards.
• Configure CI/CD deployment pipelines across development, testing, and production.
• Create semantic models to support enterprise analytics and reporting.
• Build complex Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, business stakeholders, and technical teams.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric architecture and the Azure data ecosystem.
• Hands‑on experience with Fabric Data Factory.
• Proven experience designing data ingestion from SAP and non‑SAP sources.
• Deep knowledge of Fabric Lakehouses, Warehouses, and Delta Tables.
• Experience designing and implementing semantic models.
• Advanced Power BI development skills.
• Experience with Fabric Workspace governance, security, and authorization.
• Proficiency in configuring CI/CD and deployment pipelines.
• Understanding of enterprise data architecture, data governance, security, and DevOps best practices.
• Fluent English.
