Meta Ads Strategist / Performance Marketer

About the role

Hunter Digital is seeking a Meta Ads Strategist / Performance Marketer to lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of Facebook and Instagram campaigns for eCommerce and DTC clients. This full‑time remote position will work across the entire funnel, from prospecting to retention, delivering measurable ROI.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and optimise Meta ad campaigns across prospecting, retargeting and retention phases.
• Conduct audience and competitor research to inform targeting strategies.
• Develop testing roadmaps, create campaign structures and manage budgets to achieve ROAS and CPA goals.
• Collaborate with designers and copywriters to produce compelling ad creatives and landing pages.
• Monitor performance metrics, run A/B tests and generate regular reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Stay up‑to‑date with platform updates, best practices and emerging performance‑marketing trends.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in Meta Ads, including campaign setup, audience targeting, budget management and optimisation for ROAS/CPA.
• Strong performance‑marketing background with funnel strategy, attribution knowledge and experience scaling profitable campaigns.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and client‑management skills, capable of clear reporting and expectation setting.
• Experience with eCommerce/DTC brands; familiarity with other paid channels (Google, TikTok, Pinterest) is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or equivalent practical experience.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment while handling multiple accounts.
