Member of Technical Staff – Legal Research (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff specialized in Legal Research to join a leading software development organization on a full‑time remote basis. In this role you will bridge legal expertise and technology, helping shape products that comply with complex regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Research, interpret, and summarize statutes, regulations, and case law relevant to product development.
• Design and implement technical frameworks or tools that automate portions of the legal research workflow.
• Partner with product, engineering, and compliance teams to embed legal insights into design decisions.
• Monitor emerging legal trends and assess their impact on current and future technology solutions.
• Produce clear technical documentation and guidelines to ensure ongoing legal compliance.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal education.
• Demonstrated experience with regulatory analysis and compliance processes.
• Ability to translate legal concepts into actionable technical requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.

• Proficiency in legal research methodologies and associated tools.
