Legal Assistant / Case Manager (Remote – Argentina)

About the role

The Ledger Law Firm is looking for a highly capable Legal Assistant / Case Manager to support its U.S.-based personal injury practice. This remote position is based in Argentina and requires a professional who can manage case details, communicate clearly in English, and help move injury cases forward with urgency and care.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with clients about case status, treatment updates, and general inquiries.
• Open, organize, and maintain personal injury case files.
• Request and follow up on medical records, billing records, police reports, insurance information, and other essential documents.
• Interact with medical providers, insurance adjusters, lienholders, and other third parties.
• Track client medical treatment and ensure ongoing client engagement.
• Provide pre‑litigation and litigation support to attorneys and senior case managers.
• Draft, review, and organize correspondence, case summaries, and internal notes.
• Maintain accurate case management records and update files consistently.
• Identify early problems and escalate urgent issues to senior staff.

Required profile

• Based in Argentina.
• Excellent written and spoken English (C1/C2 preferred).
• Law degree, legal studies background, or prior legal experience.
• Experience with U.S. personal injury law, insurance claims, litigation, or medical records is a strong plus.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently.
