Marketing Web Developer (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

UseJam, a bootstrapped consumer‑products company, is looking for a Marketing Web Developer based in Latin America. You will work closely with the marketing and CRO team in Santa Ana, California, building landing pages, Shopify sections, and A/B test variants that drive paid‑traffic conversions.

Key responsibilities

• Build responsive, conversion‑focused landing pages and test variants from Figma designs and briefs.
• Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, creating custom sections and enhancing product and checkout pages across three brands.
• Implement and QA tracking solutions, adding GA4 events, GTM tags, and Meta/TikTok pixels and ensuring they fire correctly.
• Maintain and extend a shared component library, keeping documentation up to date.
• Leverage AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, v0, etc.) to accelerate development while explaining all code shipped.
• Participate in daily async stand‑ups, flag blockers early, and document work across time zones.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of hands‑on web development with a portfolio of responsive pages you built yourself.
• Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; you code by hand rather than relying solely on drag‑and‑drop tools.
• Experience with Shopify or Liquid templating; deeper expertise is a plus.
• Understanding of digital tracking concepts (pixels, events) and why they matter.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Practical use of AI coding tools and the ability to explain the generated code.
