About the role
We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to support our US‑based digital marketing consultancy’s remote team. The role focuses on managing social media channels, optimizing client websites and creating high‑quality content that drives engagement and conversions.
Key responsibilities
- Create, design (Canva) and schedule social media posts, including basic video editing.
- Write press releases, blogs, newsletters and promotional emails.
- Conduct digital audits and present growth recommendations.
- Perform basic edits on WordPress, Wix and Shopify sites; manage Google Business and Yelp listings.
- Implement on‑page SEO improvements such as meta tags, alt text and site structure.
- Support account managers with routine tasks and special projects.
Required profile
- 2+ years of experience in social media management, website optimization or digital marketing.
- Proficiency with Canva and basic video editing tools.
- Working knowledge of WordPress, Wix and Shopify.
- Strong command of English grammar for professional copy.
- Experience with Google Business Listings, Yelp and online directories is a plus.
