Marketing Assistant (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Marketing Assistant to support our US‑based digital marketing consultancy. The role is fully remote and focuses on social media management, website optimisation, and high‑quality content creation for a diverse client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Create, design (Canva) and schedule engaging social media posts, including basic video editing.
• Write press releases, blogs, newsletters and promotional emails with strong brand voice.
• Conduct digital audits and present growth recommendations.
• Perform basic edits on WordPress, Wix and Shopify sites; manage Google Business Listings and Yelp directories.
• Implement on‑page SEO improvements (meta tags, alt text, site structure) and monitor site speed and UX.
• Support account managers with routine tasks and special projects.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in social media management, website optimisation or digital marketing.
• Proficiency with Canva and basic video‑editing tools.
• Familiarity with WordPress, Wix and Shopify platforms.
• Strong command of English grammar for professional copy.
• Experience managing Google Business Listings, Yelp and other online directories.
• Detail‑oriented, analytical and excellent communication skills.
