Manual QA Engineer (Gaming Metaverse)

About the role

The Sandbox is looking for a Manual QA Engineer to ensure that its decentralized metaverse games are stable, functional, and meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with developers, designers, and the marketing team to deliver polished builds for players worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute test cases, including daily smoke tests.
• Run comprehensive stability checks on game builds.
• Log clear, concise tickets in the bug‑tracking system (JIRA or similar).
• Identify, reproduce, and verify defects and fixes.
• Assist the Marketing department by capturing screenshots and video footage.
• Collaborate with other QA team members to continuously improve testing processes.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in a QA role.
• Strong passion for video games and the metaverse.
• Comfortable working on Windows PCs; iOS experience is a plus.
• Fluent written English with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to provide optimization feedback on games.
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively in a team.
