Manager, Clinical Data Scientist

About the role

Pfizer is seeking a Manager, Clinical Data Scientist to lead data management activities for clinical trials in Buenos Aires. The role will ensure high‑quality, timely, and consistent clinical data to support evidence‑based medical decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as Clinical Data Scientist and Trial Lead for one or more clinical trials, overseeing all CDS activities including data acquisition standards, Data Management Plan, quality risk indicators, and third‑party data due diligence.
• Act as technical resource for study teams on data management and risk‑based monitoring standards, tools, data provisioning, and reporting.
• Partner with research/business units, external DM service providers and internal CDS staff to deliver high‑quality data management.
• Drive quality and efficiency to meet timelines and milestones, ensuring scientific and operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and working practices for all CDS work.
• Participate in database design, documentation, testing and implementation of clinical data collection tools (CRF and non‑CRF) using EDC systems.
• Maintain high‑quality study‑specific CDS documents in the Trial Master File and ensure contemporaneous filing.
• Collaborate with partners to apply standards, conduct proactive data review, monitor data integrity, clean data, process e‑data, provide data access and visualization, and release databases.

Required profile

• Demonstrated successful experience in all relevant clinical data management activities in a biopharmaceutical or CRO setting.
• Working knowledge of all phases of clinical trials and ability to assess study requirements from protocol review.
• Strong project and risk management capabilities.
• CRO and vendor oversight experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
