Logistics Manager (Remote)

About the role

Jiga is looking for a Logistics Manager to own the end‑to‑end movement of every part the platform touches, from a CNC shop in Shenzhen to a robotics lab in Boston. This fully remote role blends operational expertise with commercial acumen, ensuring each shipping decision supports the overall business deal.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate rates and contracts with freight forwarders and carriers.
• Select optimal transportation modes based on time, complexity, and cost constraints.
• Guide trade‑compliance activities and coordinate with logistics administrators.
• Price freight for customers, protecting margins while maintaining deal attractiveness.
• Collaborate with sales on commercial calls and with suppliers on execution.
• Own the full shipment lifecycle: quoting, booking, customs clearance, delivery, and financial reconciliation.

Required profile

• Strong commercial instincts and ability to treat logistics decisions as business decisions.
• Experience negotiating freight contracts and managing global supply‑chain operations.
• Comfort working independently in a fully remote, asynchronous environment.
• Proactive mindset: willing to question contracts, fix broken customs flows, and improve processes.

Required skills
